I am honoured to announce that I will be running as an independent candidate for the riding of Cardigan.

 

I have been approached by other parties to run and that would have been a very easy option. As an independent, I can ask questions on behalf of Islanders in Ottawa, without having my hand held by party influencers. Some people have suggested that an independent candidate cannot win on PEI, yet they are not happy with their options, and many have agreed to vote independent in the upcoming election!

 

People on PEI do not trust Pierre Poilievre, while Mark Carney is showing his true colours more and more each day. The Liberals have economically put this country in a hole and Mark Carney was one of the economic advisors that put us there.

 

I will bring ALL Islanders' questions to Ottawa on your behalf. If they do not answer my questions, they will answer me when I re-ask the questions on the front steps of the House of Commons and demand answers.

 

The acclaimed Liberal candidate, with no opinion other than to fully support the liberal platform, instead of what matters to Islanders, is of no help to Islanders, and a handpicked Conservative Candidate will be of lesser value.

 

Cuts are coming to the federal government workforce from both parties, and it is more important than ever to have someone willing to ruffle feathers in Ottawa and ask questions on your behalf. You will need a voice, now more than ever!

 

A successful election for Mark Carney will be a minority Conservative government. The Liberals will not be going in. You need a voice.

 

I believe that the following is critical to our success as a riding and as a country.

 

• Cut all carbon pricing, start using our own natural resources and pipe oil across the country from BC to NB.

 

• Support parents when it comes to making the decisions about raising their children.

 

• Help allow our seniors to live a quality of life they deserve.

 

• Cut immigration immediately until housing and our health care system can accommodate those who are already here.

 

• Ensure a future for our farmers and fishermen as they are the ones who feed us.

 

• We must demand a real green plan that can work for all Canadians.

 

• Canada must become economically strong again and then incentivize coal burning countries to use our oil and natural gas to decrease pollution and create economic advantages for our country.

 

• The federal and provincial governments must work together to support inter provincial trade.

 

• Until we can take care of ourselves, we need to stop telling other countries what to do and stop foreign spending immediately.

 

I moved back to Canada/PEI as this is where I wanted to raise my children. Let’s rebuild a Canada that our children can not only live in, but also thrive.

 

I give my word that I will do what it takes to finally get Canada going again, and to build a strong future for the farmers, fishers, families, and seniors of the Cardigan riding.

Following Elections Canada rules, we can accept your donations but cannot offer a receipt before an election. Any further donations made after an election has been called will be accompanied by a tax receipt.
